Sky Iron Breaker III

Until recently, the most common solution for problem iron and H2S water involved the use of harsh chemicals & complicated equipment requiring regular care and service by the homeowner or water treatment professional. Sky now offers the “natural” solution for removing iron and H2S. The Ironbreaker III has a proven, patented technology that uses nature’s own oxidation process to eliminate iron and H2S without chemicals, air compressors, aerators, and external venturis. It simply uses nature’s own oxidation process.
Water is considered the universal solvent. As it passes from liquid to vapor and back again, it tends to dissolve everything it touches – whether in the air as water vapor where it can mix with sulfur from smokestacks forming acid or from the ground, absorbing calcium, magnesium, sulfur, iron, lead and limestone – water can have a negative impact on you, your household and your pocketbook. Depending on where you live, contaminants from sewage, industrial waste and agricultural run-off can also seep into your water supply.

Your water may have an iron & h2s problem if...
Stains or buildup appear on your sinks and bathtubs, using large amounts of soap to clean dishes or wash your hair, or you have odd-tasting and/or smelling water. All of these things are the results of hard water. If left untreated, the minerals in hard water will cause yellow stains on plumbing fixtures and be deposited as scale, eventually clogging plumbing and shortening the life of appliances like washing machines, water heaters, and dishwashers.
How does the Iron Breaker III work?
The Iron Breaker III stores a “bubble” of air, compressed by your well pressure, within the media tank. As your water passes thru the air, the iron or H2S is converted to a particle which is then trapped by the catalytic filter media in the tank while the air “bubble” is gradually consumed by the passing water. For regeneration, the unit first “backwashes” itself, removing any iron particles it has trapped. The system then replenishes the “air bubble” by drawing in the atmosphere, temporarily emptying the tank of all water, and transferring oxygen molecules into and on the surface of the media bed where all oxidation occurs. The system then returns to the “service” position, again filtering your water

We’ve had the Sky-W product in our home for right at a year and a half at this point May of 2022 is... when we had the sales rep come out. My family and I love this product. We cannot stand to drink water from out now you can easily smell and taste the difference. They were so awesome to work with! AND our water AND ice is amazing! All I can say is WOW!! I’ve waited to post my review to see the results long term. We’ve had our... system for over 6 months now and the difference is night and day. The tests itself obviously motivated us to make this investment, their rep was not only super educated but also extremely kind! We LOVE ALL of our soaps and get this I DON’T need conditioner anymore! What is filtered water?

Filtered water, in the simplest of terms, is water that has been forced through or over some medium with the intent of removing something from the water. Most filtered water can be divided into 2 categories:

  • Physical filtration (provides a physical barrier that removes larger particles from your water)
  • Chemical filtration (uses simple chemical reactions on the water to remove smaller impurities that physical filters can’t catch)

How do water filters work?

How to change water filter?

To change a water filter, and for best results, check with your filters manufacturer manual or schedule regular maintenance through your installer. A generic rundown includes:

  • Gather your supplies (replacement water filter, filter wrench, strap wrench, o-ring, food-grade silicone grease, plumbers tape, a big bucket, & towels)

  • Repressurize system
  • Turn the water back on
